Well, we are the ones that have decided to start this blog because we are passionate about living more mindful lives. We are also open to all suggestions and comments on the blog. We are looking for ways to live a more mindful life. We are looking on how to live a mindful life, and that is what this blog is all about.
A friend of mine recently told me that he was going to a yoga retreat to be there for a few days. He was so excited about going that he made a trip to the yoga retreat and picked up a few of the Yoga Meditation Classes which he really liked. He really liked that he was doing yoga with the kids and he was like, “I’m not going to do yoga with my kids… I’m going to do yoga with my husband.
That’s a great example of something in life that seems simple but makes you question yourself. When you think about it, it’s like the first step on the right side of your brain is to ask yourself, “what am I doing?” or “what do I want to do?” or “am I doing it for the right reason?” I think a great way to get better at this is to start making a list of things that you want to do.
So far he seems to be doing it because he wants to do it, but it seems like he wants to do it for the right reasons. But he still needs to do it to be able to do it. You can never know if you’re “doing it for the right reason” until you actually try it.
So when a person is trying to do something they don’t know how to do and the only way to get them to do it is to show them how to do it, then most people will give up. Our friend, Mr. J has been trying to get the right reasons to get into the right things for years. He’s been trying to get things like a new car, a home, a new job, or even a romantic relationship to happen.
Like Mr. J, most people stop trying and just start doing it. It’s a little like the movie “The Truman Show” as we like to call it. We like to think that all people have a “taste” and that if we take enough time to try something we can get it, but what most people don’t seem to understand is that when we take enough time to try something, we can actually make it happen.
